UV
Tomorrow is beach day! Or maybe not, because my mother is determined to keep me in the house after 12pm, so that the sun does not burn me to a unidentifiable crisp. This will happen anyway, as I am very fair. And so, I have accepted my fate and insist on going to the beach anyway. Hooray for being stubborn!
With Pure Math off our List of Exams™, there is nothing left to do but explore the vast emptiness that is Abu Dhabi. On the bright side, we no longer have to stuff equations-that-don't-make-any-sense into our heads. However, we still have to go to school on the 1st of June for another Chemistry paper, on the 4th for a Literature and Physics papers, on the 5th for a Pure Math AS and a Biology paper, on the 8th for ANOTHER Biology paper, on the 9th for more Literature, on the 10th for a Physics paper and on the 12th for MORE Chemistry. As you can see, it is a very long list full of inconvenient dates. These exams are nothing more than a way to kill time, if you ask me, because you can't study for O-Levels. You can't even study for the Math AS because they give you a book full of equations and what's the point?
Enough about exams! I'm off to go hate a certain someone who wears a straw-hat-with-a-bow in the summer.
Shu.
P.S. The certain someone is male, which is why the hat is unacceptable.

söker!
So the daily posting broke, and it was all my fault.
Pay attention, because this is /very important./
I suck.
actually, I'm just busy wasting time, and there's nothing to blog about. Pure Maths final is tomorrow (did I study? noo!) and I shall be seeing Shereen, and perhaps something of note will happen.
Sorry for fail post.
(am I proud of myself? noo!)
GOOD LUCK SHU.

TEETH
Dentists are awful people. They drag you out of the house at unspeakable hours to put more metal than necessary in your teeth, resulting in a lot of pain and cranky behaviour. At the end of the appointment, they always say, 'Thank you!' as if you have done them some tremendous favor.
When I was a child, I wanted to be a dentist. That is, until I visited a certain orthodontist who lived by the motto, 'It's not pain, it's pressure!' You know your dentist is on crack when he refuses to use anaesthetic. Suck it up, Patient! That's not pain you're feeling, it's just pressure! Anyway, enough about dentists. No one likes listening to dentist-related stories.
This summer I am headed to London with my dear mother and sisters for a wedding. More specifically, my cousin's wedding. I am quite convinced that my family-from-my-mother's-side are going to faint at the sight of me because the last time they saw me, I was still and child and still cute. Now Choueifat has taken it's toll on me and I look like a snail with four eyes. At least I'm slightly intelligent, yes?
I'm not sure that counts for anything, though.
Nineteen days until we're off school.

Look at the Stars
Shereen doesn't fail at life!
This is all.
Actually, no, that is not all. Y'see, things are actually happening in this red room of mine. And though that sounds super awesome to say, it's not entirely true, seeing as these things are happening elsewhere... But anyhow.
Due to rather substantial amounts of my substance disappearing into thin air, my mum suggested that I cook something and eat it, in an attempt to once again escape the bony grasp of malnutrition. Frankly, it is just retarded how I lose weight when I am LESS ACTIVE and MORE BORED and SNACKING MORE OFTEN. I don't really care about my shape/size, but honestly it sucks to black out everytime I stand, and seriously I'd like to know where everything I manage to eat is going.
But anyhow. I made profiteroles! And despite being pastry, I didn't botch them up, and they puffed up beautifully with that hole in the centre, and they were absolutely delicious. I couldn't be bothered to fill them, so they were simply dipped in chocolate and topped off with whipped cream. Ah...
As for the summer, summer will be awesome! My sister finishes school on the second of July, and I finish on the twelveth.. twelvth?.. 12th of June, so there is no way I'm leaving before that. Also she is going to Artek in the Ukraine from sometime in July, till the 4th of August, so I won't have to put up with her being bored at home with nothing to do but watch TV and torture me in her evil vortex manner! And we are in better probability going to Ireland!
But the point is, there are atleast TWENTY days to fill with kickass awesome things in Abu Dhabi.
Also I totally feel we are better off working at school.. Unless summer camps involve a lot of swimming..

/FAIL/
So apparently I fail at blogging. That said, I fail at a lot of things, such as Pure Math. Pure Math is a ridiculous subject, especially if it is being taught by the wrong teacher. Who knew getting thirteens would bring me such joy?
With no choice left, we have decided to look for jobs at a summer camp with our lovely friend Noor. To be honest, I am not very good with children. In fact, I am terrible with them because they are generally bratty towards me. Also, they just don't like me. I have never interacted properly with Vindhya's sister, and yet she has decided that she dislikes me as well. Anyway, Vindhya is not too keen on the whole summer-camp-thing either, but if we have Noor around, we're more likely to keep our tempers in check, because she has this weird neutralizing effect on people.
Today we wrote our Mechanics M1 exam. It was the one of the stupidest exams I have ever taken. People in our grade love studying for O-Levels and external exams. This is both stupid and useless. No matter how many past papers they do, they will never see the same question twice. You may beg to differ, but I am speaking from experience. Seriously, who saw the whole 'Draw a garlic!' question coming in the Biology O-Level? NO ONE, that's who. All those hours that were spent studying could have been spent restoring energy or consuming fine cuisine.
My sister is coming to Abu Dhabi in nineteen days. So if you suddenly feel that things are ten times more awesome, that is because she is in the country. That is not a joke.
Twenty-one days until we're off school.

Hot Knives
Being at home on study leave is fairly retarded, seeing as I don't study, and my mum makes a fuss about my going out because I should be studying. And there are Twenty-Three days left, hurrah. The only thing to do is play piano, because I have an exam on that in less that two weeks, but it is so frustrating. Atleast I am making progress.
Also summer plans are to go to Sri Lanka at the end of June, and perhaps somewhere else, but I'm not sure about that. I'm not for travelling to places in the summer, because I don't see the point in going anywhere unless there is a lot of snow.
As for the layout of the blog, I know there are weird spots, and I know they were fixed, but apparently the different things I do contradict themselves... however, this is personal now, and I shan't give up. RAR.
(Shereen is studying and I have no one to talk to.)
(I'll go play with the cat now.)

ZOMG FIRST POST!!1! or something equally witty.
Oh, dear goodness. We are bored and setting up things is extremely and unnecessarily frustrating. Also, Wordpress sucks. You know a blogging service sucks when you don't know where to put your CSS. Vindy and I are quite convinced that a /certain someone/ is going to be following this partiuclar blog. He will think something along the lines of, "Oh, these girls." then proceed to drool. The very thought of that /certain someone/ drooling over our entertaining posts is slightly disturbing and so I will stop talking about it to spare you any mental images.
We will be free to roam our exceedingly boring city in approximately twenty-five days. Our main goal is to obtain part-time jobs but to do that, we must find a place that will refrain from shooting us down like arrows in projectile motion. Yesterday the clerk at the bookstore in a certain mall merely just said, "No part-time jobs." Clearly he was afraid that our awesome would result in his unemployment. Anyway, this is the bookstore's loss, because we are skilled in the art of dazzling people in an entertaining manner.
Oh, these girls.
Shu.
Well, I didn't want to make a new post because all I have to say is that we have run out of war in Sri Lanka, apparently. Also Sinhalese news is very disturbing and made me cry, but it's allright.
Also Shu is kickass-awesome.
So I made a banner, but Photoshop is not doing as I ask, a bit of taming/re-training would be in order, I suppose... I guess it's going to look like this, more or less, I want to tweak it.
Tweaking later, when my head doesn't hurt from uncooperative programs. Squeet!
Vee.
